People love to talk about plans to build their own businesses.

You’ll usually find them talking about a lot of topics on marketing, investment, sales, etc…

But when it comes to the actual execution of their plans, they’ll give you all the reasons possible to justify why they’re not starting yet.

“I can’t fit it in my schedule.”

“I’ll start when I have the capital.”

“I need to get an idea first.”

Those are just some of the common excuses you’ll hear from people.

And if you think about it, those excuses boil down into one thing - they’re waiting for that ‘perfect’ moment.

But the truth is, there’s no such thing.

In fact, waiting for that ‘perfect’ moment without doing anything kills your chances of succeeding.

A 5-minute jog daily will beat health and fitness videos on YouTube at any given time of the day.

Sure, binge-watching tips and tutorials on how to get a healthy body is useful. No doubt about that.

But without applying them in real life, you won’t see any improvement.

What you need to do is do the actual exercise even if it’s just for 5 minutes every day.

I know 5 minutes isn’t a lot, but doing it consistently will give you the results that you want over time.

The same principle applies to other things including business.

You can read all the business books out there.

You can surf for the hottest investments on the internet all day.

Or you can enroll in every fancy money-making course.

But at the end of the day, you’ll see ZERO results if you’re not taking action.

Instead of wasting time on planning to start, get yourself up, do the job, and learn as you go.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a small or big step. What’s important is you get started on something and make progress.

Focus on one thing at a time and build it from there. You don’t need to master all business skills to begin your journey.

Do this consistently and you’ll reap the benefits before you know it.
