How do I get started with an online business

Hey guys! Welcome to Ask Ven! Today’s question came from Michael. He asked me, “Hey Ven! I work in a restaurant. What do you recommend I do, to get started with an online business?”

This is not only for Michael. I know a lot of people who are looking for ways to start making an extra income on the internet. Back in the day, I also started doing the same thing.

I looked for a way on how I can make money on the internet. Many people also have the same question as Michael.

I’m going to share my recommendation on the best way because I already have invested a lot of money into many network marketing opportunities, MLMs, affiliate programs, and business opportunities. I spent a lot of money on these things.

My best recommendation for you when you do not know anything about online business is to get into affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is the best way to get started online because if you are promoting other people’s products, you do not have to worry about creating and fulfilling product orders.

All you have to do is start promoting the products, bring in customers, and the company will take care of the fulfillment, customer support, and other stuff.

However, you should always have patience. Avoid having this expectation like “Okay, I’m going to make money in the next 30 days or 60 days.”

Don’t keep any goal when you’re starting out like “I want to make ten thousand dollars in two months.” It may be possible for some, and I tell a lot of people that it is possible to make ten thousand dollars in the next thirty days, but I’m talking in general.

Start promoting products and in the process of promoting, you will develop some skills like how to bring in customers.

Then you can make money. When you promote other people’s products, they are making money and giving out commissions, if you can bring money into their business.

Once you have cash coming into the business, you can hire other people and they can help you in the process.

For example, you bring customers every day into the business. You then hire someone to handle other jobs such as looking into your campaigns in Adwords.

You can let them manage the campaigns and train them on how to set up the campaigns and how to manage it on a daily basis.

With this, you can have more free time to look into other things such as e-commerce. You can set up an online store if that’s what you’re passionate about.

You now have the money, the knowledge, and the experience. You can go and invest some money to learn how to do the online store, drive traffic, and get the sales right.

Another option is, once you already know how to use Adwords, you can create a product and bring in customers. Basically, you can sell the product to the people who are looking to learn how to generate traffic on Adwords.

Once you have your own product, the next step is to provide a service to the people who are looking for someone to run their campaigns.

You can go and take care of their campaigns. In this process, you can hire extra staff, because there is no way that you can do it by yourself.

Going back, the first thing you need to do is to start in affiliate marketing. Stay focused.

Pick one very good affiliate program and believe in it. Start promoting it and make it successful. If you make it successful, this becomes your first milestone.

You will look back in the next few years and see that the first milestone is the hardest part. 97% of the people cannot get their first milestone.

Start with affiliate marketing and then move to creating new products and services related to any passion you have. It is all about bringing cash into the business.

So the easiest and fastest way is to promote other people’s products.
