I see people post their wins on social media years ago…

Instead of being happy for them, I fill my mind with negative thoughts.

I feel that I don’t have the ability to build a successful online business.

I have zero background in selling or marketing. I don’t have any business or technical skills to offer in the marketplace.

I don’t even have any idea where to start in the entrepreneurial scene at the very least.

All I have to offer is a diploma that is irrelevant to the path I want to take which is to become an entrepreneur.

I even tried different money-making opportunities during those times in hopes of getting at least a sliver of success.

I bought courses and programs, joined MLM memberships, participated in online gambling sites… you name it.

But at the end of the day, I found myself not making any progress and felt hopeless.

I thought that being successful in this life is not for me…

That the business world is no place for the average guy...

And this dream is only for the gifted and geniuses.

Those negative thoughts left me hanging out in limbo — confused and overwhelmed.

But like most people, I can’t just quit because of these setbacks.

I have a family that I promised I’ll support with everything I can and dreams that are yet to be fulfilled.

So I kept trekking the path and pushing in this journey.

I badly want to get my family out of poverty and I know I can’t do that when I’m stuck in a typical 9-5 job.

That’s when I decided to improve myself by any means, even if it’s just a little progress at a time.

I did every single day until I got my first sale. I felt that my hard work finally bore fruit.

To be completely honest, that sale isn’t that much. But that marked my first of my many wins to come in the future.

It gave me that confidence that I’m lacking for years due to tons of failures and negative emotions.

I realized that you don’t have to be a born genius to become a successful entrepreneur.

I finally proved that an average guy like me can achieve breakthroughs in business and life in general.

You just have to keep pushing in your journey even during the tough time.

Don’t pressure yourself when you see a family, friend, or colleague hitting their milestones. They deserve it in the first place.

Instead, be happy for them and make them your inspiration for getting better.

You don’t have a race to compete with them because you have your own pace.

The only thing you should focus on is improving yourself.

You’ll get into the same position or even more if you just put in the effort and time to get better.

With all that being said, be a better version of yourself than yesterday.
